HAJI AJAZ AHMAD KHAN

Founded M/S Khan Carpets Industries in 1968, Haji Ajaz Ahmad Khan established Ajaz Carpets in 1982 with his sons Ishtiaq Ahmad Khan and Sultan Ahmad Khan to specialize in carpet development projects for Hotels and Embassies all over the globe.

Mr. Ajaz Ahmad Khan has worked as advisor for Export Advisory Council of Andhra Pradesh, Export Advisory Council of Uttar Pradesh and Export Promotion Council of India. He is one of the founder members of Carpet Export Promotion Council established by the Government of India for the development and growth of Indian Carpet Industry in the World.

On 30th March, 1981, Mr Ajaz Ahmad Khan won the National Award for out-standing Export performance in a Year from the then Honourable President of India Sri. Neelam Sanjiva Reddy, at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi.

Today, retired from business, Haji Ajaz Ahmad Khan spends most of his time taking care of social issues like providing education to the children of the weavers, eradication of child-labor, guiding people planning for Haj, etc.
